The RV Falcon Booster Club Holds Elections and Nominate New President. The RV falcons held their monthly meeting last week. Along with all of the usual issues that needed to be discussed, the election of officers also took place. We do still have representation from all 3 of the Co-Op schools; Midland, Henry-Senachwine, and Lowpoint Washburn. The officers are as follows: President: Tom Danhof Vice-President from Midland: Tina Kingen Vice-President from Henry: Jim Sendelbach Vice-President from Washburn: DiAnn Kuehn Secretary: Michele Bratt Treasurer: Melvin Jones Concession stand coordinators: Linda Danhof and Shanda Marschang Even with officer representation from all of the schools we still need you as parents, past alumni, and Falcon football fans to achieve our goals. The tine to join and to get involved is now. The new season's school year may not start until August but your football program needs you and your help. The booster club is now conduction their membership drive for the upcoming 2007 football season. The price still remains $20.00 and your name will be included in the 2007 program. Membership flyers will be made available in the schools newsletters and high school offices. All of your membership dues are used exclusively for the football players. Last year your dues helped to buy new chutes and dummies, agility ropes, and countless meals for the players for both home and away games. This year we are sill in the planning stages on just what we would like to obtain for the program. Look for details to this in the coming weeks. The RV Falcons booster club meets the 4th Wednesday of the month, (Jan.-Oct.) at 7:00 at the Midland High School. Our next scheduled meetings is Wednesday, March 28th. Individuals form all 3 communities are invited to participate and to share your ideas. This would also be a great opportunity for parents of 8th graders who will have a Falcon freshman next year. If you have any comments of questions about the program or the booster club you can e-mail Don or Michelle Bratt at thebratts@grics.net |
