Bright Beginnings Program

Spring Screenings

• Free, developmental screenings offered for children ages birth-five (kindergarten age not eligible)

• The screening includes  social and self help skills, speech/language development, pre-academic skills, fine and gross motor development, parent interview and a vision and hearing checklist. Parents participate with their children. 

• A developmental screening attempts to determine if a child is developing skills within a range that is age appropriate. Results are shared with parents during the appointment. Results can be forwarded to community preschools or childcare centers, with parent permission.

• A screening is required in order to be considered for the Bright Beginnings preschool program.

• Registration is required. Please call 367-4903 for a screening appointment.
