Vision Statement

We believe that students should:

  1. Know how to learn, communicate effectively, and think creatively and analytically;
  2. Set goals, strive to do their best, develop good character, respect themselves and the rights of others;
  3. Use technology and prepare to adjust to the needs of our changing society;
  4. Practice good citizenship.

 

Our school district's goals:
  1. To continuously improve on a positive learning environment.

  2. To strengthen the partnership between school and parents/community.

  3. To maintain Lowpoint-Washburn as an effective and efficient district.

  4. To implement a fully integrated and interdisciplinary curriculum that develops the knowledge and skills of all students.

  7. To employ and retain excellent certified and non-certified staff.

Submit information to be added to LWHS Online to Valerie Kruzan either on diskette or through e--mail at kruzan@washburn.k12.il.us

Members of the Web Page class will add a befitting link if authorized by the proper channels.

All materials need to be of reasonable taste and not break any clause of the vision statement or school handbook codes.
