Dear Parents:
The Lowpoint -W ashburn H. O .P
.E Learning Center will be holding the After School
Program Registration for the Fall 2001 session in the
Jr./Sr. High Library on Tuesday, August 7th.
The After School Program is
available to students who are in grades K -12 and attend
District #21 schools. Parents of enrolled children will
be provided with a set of enrollment forms to be turned
in prior to the student's first day of attendance.
There is NO cost to enroll in the
program. In the event that outside agencies provide
special services to the program (tumbling classes, dance
classes, field trips, etc.) parents are required to pay
the fees.
The After-School Program will be
in session Monday-Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Students enrolled in the program will be served a snack
and attend homework assistance or quiet study time
between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00
p.m., students will participate in enrichment activities
based on cross-curricular themes. The Learning center win
also be offering an open computer lab for the community
on Tuesdays this fall.
