Project  # 1: The Jobs People Do – Research Assignment
You will be given class time to use the library and browse the career webpage links provided on my webpage to gather research information to complete this assignment.

Example: My Quest Independent Study Project: http://www.simonpages.com/ems/jobs

A second grader peeks at jobs people do for an independent project. Find out what she learned through her studies!

  2. The goal is to learn more about at least 10 different careers.
  3. Begin by interviewing your parents about their career choices.  You may want to visit their work to see them at work, and even take pictures to share.
  4. Design a question form with 10 – 20 questions and ask 10 people to fill it out. Sample questions.
They should all have different jobs.
  5. Collect information from the Library and the Internet about their jobs and additional careers that interest you.
  6. Document your sources.

· Bibliography (List the people you interviewed, the town, state they live in, their
