Grant Park
Grant Park has long been one of Washburn's
outstanding resources, adding quality to the lives of young as well as older
citizens. It offers a double tennis court, baseball diamond, inline skate
park, walking trail, four pavillions for gatherings, three on the south and west
sides of Snag Creek which flows through the well kept grounds. Pavillions
can be reserved for special occasions, see below. There is an
ongoing maintenance and replacement of playground equipment, and activity areas.
The park was donated by the Ireland Family in memory of their son, Grant.
